What issues do we work with?

If you’re working with, or responsible for, a child or young person who is having a challenging time — we can help.

We support young people who are struggling in school, having issues with their self-confidence and identity, or adapting to transitions within their lives such as changing family dynamics.

We have expertise in working with young people who need additional support to develop healthy relationships with others.

We also work with young people who have witnessed domestic abuse or may be exhibiting unhealthy behaviours in their relationships with parents, carers, siblings and friends.

One to One Support

Support can be provided around:

What is domestic abuse

Healthy and unhealthy relationships

Identifying emotions and developing positive coping strategies for these

Completing a safety plan

Exploring self-esteem and self confidence

Family life and family relationships

Change within families; such as divorce, a new home, or parental separation.

Support is facilitated using a wide range of activities, games and discussions, as suited to the child or young persons age, needs and learning style.

*Please note- Given our current waiting times, we want to ensure that children and young people can access support as quickly as possible. Therefore, at present all primary school children will initially be placed onto our Rspace Group waiting list, unless they have any additional needs or circumstances that would make it difficult for them to access a group. If this is the case, we would look at offering 1-2-1 support.
