Adult referrals

This page is for professionals who need to make an adult domestic abuse support referral to Safe in Salford’s domestic abuse services. 
Referrals to Safe in Salford must meet the criteria for domestic abuse following the Domestic Abuse Act guidelines below;

 If you require further advice or need to query an adult domestic abuse support referral before submitting please use the relevant email address in the sections below.

HIGH RISK REFERRALS are for scores 14 or above or based on professional judgement. If you need further advice regarding a high risk case contact IDVA@safeinsalford.org.uk. Please note that high-risk referrals must be submitted by your service to Sharepoint for MARAC, these cannot be processed by email. Any enquiries regarding Salford MARAC and the Sharepoint site should be sent to Salford Public Protection salford.publicprotection@gmp.police.uk

MEDIUM/LOW RISK REFERRALS are for scores 13 and below. If you have a query regarding a case, contact referrals@safeinsalford.org.uk . Please note – for medium/low risk referrals we can only accept clients who have consented to contact from Safe in Salford and have a completed DASH.

GP REFERRALS – For referrals via GP please refer to the professionals IRIS pathway.
